As you give back, we want to give back, too. For every friend you refer to Medrecruit between May 1 and June 31, 2024, we're doubling our referral bonus, offering up to $2,000* in rewards, either as a gift card or a donation to charity.

Refer a friend get up to $2000* for yourself or a charitable cause
Refer a friend to Medrecruit, and upon their first placement completion, you're rewarded with a gift card worth up to $2000* or choose to donate to one of three selected charities.
The amount you earn depends on the number of days your friend works. To qualify for the $2000 they must work 25+ consecutive days (within 12 months of referral). *T&Cs apply.
How our friend referral works
Sign in to your Medrecruit account, head to your dashboard and copy your referral link. Send the link to as many friends as you like.
Earn a gift card or opt for a charity donation after your referred friend completes their first placement with Medrecruit, provided they work over three days.
Your reward will be between $100 - $2000*. The amount depends on how many days your friend works on their first placement. To qualify for the $2000 they must work 25+ consecutive days (within 12 months of referral).
Being able to work in the same hospital allows us the have the same shifts and the same days off and that allows us to have greater flexibility.

Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) is an independent international medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, healthcare exclusion and natural or man-made disasters.
Hand-n-Hand Peer Support
Hand-n-Hand (Helping Australian & New Zealand Nurses and Doctors) provides wellbeing assistance where both the facilitator and participant are equals. Through this, people can connect via lived experiences. Peer support is supported by research as an effective pre-clinical mental health intervention.
Drs4Drs
Drs4Drs has been established by the medical profession for the medical profession. Through a network of doctors’ health advisory and referral services, independent, free, safe, supportive and confidential services are available across Australia.
Reward points
Doctors who are registered with Medrecruit can earn Reward Points. You can earn Reward Points for pretty much everything you do with Medrecruit. Once you have earned more than 8,000 points, you can cash in your points for a digital or physical gift card, which can be spent at stores across Australia and New Zealand.
How our rewards points work
You’ll get 500 points for registering with Medrecruit for the first time, then earn more points for any locum or permanent positions we place you in (or for referring friends!)
Receive 10 points for every $100 you earn doing locum work with Medrecruit and receive 1,000 points for every month you work in a permanent, salaried role.
Once you have earned more than 8,000 points, you can cash in your points for a digital or physical gift card, which can be spent at stores across Australia and New Zealand.
Frequently Asked Questions
Each Reward Point is worth $0.025. Remember, you’ll earn 500 points simply for signing up with Medrecruit.
- 8,000 points converts to a $200 gift card
- 20,000 points converts to a $500 gift card
Once you have collected 8,000 or more Reward Points, you can cash in your points for a digital or physical gift card. Check your Reward Points balance by signing in – your total will be at the bottom of your profile homepage. When you have collected enough points, get in contact with us to claim your gift card.
Reward Points expire 12 months after you’ve earned them, so don’t forget to cash them in!

From 1 May 2024 - 30 June 2024 when you refer a friend to Medrecruit, you'll receive double the usual rewards. This means you could recieve a gift card up to the value of $2000, depending on the length of time your referred friend works with us on their first placement.
Full Terms & Conditions of Refer a Friend
Through the website, there is the ability to refer a friend. By clicking the refer a friend button a unique code is created and recorded on the user’s profile. This unique link can then be pasted and shared with a friend to register. As a thank you, we will send you a Visa Gift Card (AU), Prezzy Card (NZ), or Gift card of your choice (INTL), or to donate to a pre-selected charity, which Medrecruit will facilitate with a value for each unique person you refer, dependent on the length of their first placement. By participating in Medrecruit’s Friend Referral Programme you agree to the below terms & conditions:
- You must be registered with Medrecruit at the time of making the referral, two doctors cannot sign up and refer one another
- A referral can be made by sharing the unique code on your profile dashboard, verbally to your Solutions Specialist, or by email to your Solutions Specialist or to info@medrecruit.com
- Referrals are not valid if the candidate being referred is not a registered doctor
- Referrals are not valid if the referrer and person being referred are the same person
- Referrals are not valid if the person referred is already registered with MedrecruitIt
- If a referral is registered more than once, the referral bonus will go to the first referrer
- A $2,000 Visa gift Card (AU), Prezzy Card (NZ), or Gift card of your choice (INTL), or to donate to a pre-selected charity, which Medrecruit will facilitate will be offered when the referred doctor is successfully placed through Medrecruit for the first time, placed within twelve months, and completes one of the following:
- A successful permanent placement; the doctor’s first placement, when the referred doctor completes the initial four-week, full-time (30-hours plus per week) assignment
- A successful locum placement; the doctor’s first placement, when the referred doctor has worked full-time across 25 days within twelve months of their referral
- For first placements three days or less, that are completed within 6 months of being referred, Medrecruit will award the referring doctor 5,000 points
- For first placements 4-24 days, that are completed within 12 months of being referred, Medrecruit will offer the referring doctor a $200 Visa Card
- The referring doctor will be contacted within 30 business days of their referred doctor fulfilling the above requirements
- Medrecruit reserve the right to terminate or change our Friend Referral Programme at any time and without notice
- By accepting these Terms & Conditions and providing us with an individual's details, you agree that you have the authority to provide these details and that Medrecruit will contact the referred doctor. You can read our privacy policy here
